Children Charity Foundation was founded in September 1st
provide better educational support and opportunities for children who come from lower
income families, particularly those who are not living in public housing, not supported by
Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme and living in poor condition and
confined spaces.
Despite the provision of twelve-year free education, many students still encounter difficulty
catching up with the difference in English ability. In view of that, the Foundation has
partnered with Hong Kong Christian Service, a long established NGO, to support their
projects particularly in the areas of education. For instance, arranging voluntary teachers
to provide language tutoring service, home visits to find out about the needs and interests
of the needy, hence building a happier and healthier life, thus reaching their dream. The
Foundation would also like to encourage the beneficiaries to demonstrate spirit of goodwill
by giving back to the society through becoming our volunteers in future, so as to reach
out and spread love and care to more families and children in need, reinforcing the
Foundation’s belief: Family to Family, Kids Helping Kids.
