【Kids’ Spine Health Free Clinic Day】Second stop: Tai Po Spanish International School, the “Kids’ Spine Health Free Clinic Day” sponsored by LIGHTMAC Wellness has come to the second stop!
Sponsored by Lightmac Wellness, the “Chiropractic Free Clinic Day” organised by our Kids’ Dream Charity Foundation, our first stop was Choi Hung Estate Catholic English Secondary School, where the team checked the spine health of the children one by one and carried out follow-up work. After that, we will continue to go to different schools to conduct free clinics, hoping that the community will pay more attention to the health of children’s spinal development.
The 8th Children’s Dream Charity Scholarship Award Ceremony has been successfully completed! This year we continue to go to #聖約瑟英文中學. Many of our students have received #獎學金 of our sponsorship to study at the universities of their choice.
Initiated by the Children Charity Foundation and fully supported by LIGHTMAC Wellness, the “KIDS’ Spine Health Free Clinic Day” arrived at the Spanish School of Hong Kong to provide lectures to teachers, students and staff of the school, as well as free spinal examinations for the children to provide them with appropriate medical follow-up.
In 2015, in order to promote the importance of community and children’s attention to the protection of the spine, the Children Charity Foundation once again cooperated with the Hong Kong Chiropractor Association to conduct spinal examinations for Hong Kong residents and school children through visits to all walks of life, and encouraged Hong Kong people to self-check their spinal health by using mobile mobile technology, and held the Hong Kong Chiropractic Health Index Survey Conference and World Chiropractic Day 2015 “Let Me Check” on 10 October. The Association also invited CCF Ambassadors Pang Eddie Pang Wai On, Don Li Yat long and Rosanna Wong to attend the event and led nearly 100 students to jump the spine guard. At the same time, the results of the Hong Kong Spinal Health Index survey were released and analysed on the same day, and chiropractic volunteers also provided free spinal check-ups for students from low-income families on the spot, so that they could understand how to protect their spines and reduce the occurrence of pain. The results of the Health Index survey have been widely reported in newspapers and various media, which has successfully attracted the attention of the general public and raised the public’s awareness of the importance of protecting spinal health. In 2014 and 2015, the World Chiropractic Day event co-organised by the Children Charity Foundation and the Hong Kong Chiropractor Association won the first prize in the World Chiropractic Day event competition.
